  • e-Learning Technology Support

If students experience any issues with their school issued laptop or have technical difficulties in accessing their classes, please first contact the Mahwah Technology Department via email at mahwahtech@mahwah.k12.nj.us  prior to going to the T3 tech-support center.

If the technician responds that you will need to drop off your school issued laptop at T3, please follow the steps below:

    1. Print and complete the computer repair form

    1. Go directly to the STEAM building, (T3), Door 1 between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (not the main building) and drop off your computer and form in the bin located in the vestibule.

    1. We ask that wait in your vehicle until a technician assesses the issue and contacts you via your cell phone. If your laptop can not be repaired on-site, you will be assigned a loaner laptop, and your computer will be sent out for repair. As soon as your computer is returned from service, we will contact you and schedule a time for its pickup.

  • Chronic Absenteeism

Chronic Absenteeism is defined by the state as not being present for 10% or more of possible school days. The state exempts some absences from the Chronic Absenteeism threshold such as a religious holiday, Take your Child to Work Day, participation in observance of Veterans Day or district board of election membership activities, and the closure of a busing district that prevents a student from having transportation to the receiving school.

Absences resulting from out-of-school suspension, field trips, and approved Home Instruction do not count towards the threshold.  In addition to supporting student learning, student attendance supports our school’s rank/grade!  Please continue to work with us and continue to prioritize school attendance.  School attendance is truly a home-school partnership.
