New Student Enrollment

Welcome to the Mahwah Township Public Schools!

Mahwah is a sprawling, diverse community that covers approximately 26.5 square miles in northwest Bergen County. If you are new to Mahwah and wish to enroll your child in one of our schools, please review the Mahwah Township Public Schools Policy below, to ensure you meet the district’s eligibility requirements. 

The Realtime Registration link below will bring you to the district pre-registration portal, where you can complete all the required data for your student and upload the mandatory documents. Please note the district has three (pre) k- 3 schools, enrollment to these schools is based on student address. If you are unsure which of our three elementary schools your child will attend, please contact the Transportation Department at 201-762-2407 for guidance.
