Transportation Waiver & Reinstatement

In December 2023, the Transportation Department sent a survey to the Mahwah community.  The purpose of this survey was to identify families in the community that were eligible for busing but did not utilize this service, and most importantly, obtain feedback as to why they chose not to ride the bus.  Over 1,200 responses were received, and after analysis of those responses, as well as discussions with Administration and the Board of Education's Transportation Committee, the District decided to offer families the option to waive busing for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year.
