Mahwah High School recognizes outstanding scholarship by its Honor Roll designations each marking period. Qualifications are as follows:

High Honor Roll - A marking period average of 90.0% or higher and no marking period grade lower than 85.
Honor Roll - A marking period average of 85.0% or higher with no marking period grade lower than 80.

Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 5 academic courses in order to be eligible for honor roll status. Please note that honor roll status is calculated using the un-rounded (actual) average. Grade notations including but not limited to  WF, WA, WP, F, Inc, and loss of credit disqualify students from honor roll.
